Great news everyone, Indoor is officially back!
We're happy to announce that indoor is officially back!!
Being a seasonal dome, and subject to the college’s ever changing COVID rules, the Student’s association wasn’t sure if they were going to be able to put their dome up this year. They were delayed to reach out to clients, but with full approval from the college now, they are moving ahead with registration.
We play 6 on 6, with the field divided in two, at Algonquin’s Dome.
Men’s, women’s, and coed are offered Sunday nights from 6pm to 11pm, with a men’s division Monday nights between 9pm and 11pm. Cost per team will be $1850. If you’re carrying at least 9 players, that works out to around $205 per player, or $17 a game. It’s among the best the deals in town, if not the best deal.
The deadline to register will be November the 3rd, and a $500 deposit will be required. We’re looking to start in either December or January. We always try to keep things as cost efficient for teams as possible, which is why we use one referee and the honour system (tag only) for regular season play. However, we do bring in a second referee in for playoffs.
Capacity is set to 50 people at a time, so you’ll be allowed to bring a roster of 12 players at time, no spectators. Everyone will need to be double vaccinated to enter the dome. For proof of vaccination and contact purposes, everyone will have to register through their App Armor web site.
