Meet the founder of the Ed Laverty Skills Tournament

Tammy Laverty Hall is the proud daughter of Ed Laverty - who was the driving force behind the Ottawa Nepean Touch Football League. She witnessed his hard work & leadership pioneer the league to it's 50th year of operation under his direction. Her father's mentorship and example as an athlete, community builder and leader left an indelible impression on her and she strives to emulate the same inspiration and drive in everything she does.

Tammy has been playing touch football since the age of 13 in both women's and coed division. She has also coached NCAFA girls in touch football alongside her husband and football coach Sean Hall. Tammy is a former Miss Ottawa Rough Rider and was a CFL cheerleader for 7 years. ⠀

In 2018 Tammy founded the Ed Laverty Legacy Sports Fund in her father’s memory. A not for profit that raises funds for "Youth in Sport".⠀She is affectionately known as “Tammy Toes” a warmhearted nickname dubbed by her dad. 🏈
