Ottawa Nepean Touch Football League
The ONTFL is Ottawa's premiere touch football league with a long history of offering the best football experience at all levels of play...
In 1963, the Ottawa Nepean Touch Football League (ONTFL) was formed by Eden Windish as a four-team men’s division. Ed Laverty was given the reigns the following season and remained as President for fifty years, before being succeeded by his son Gordie in 2015.
Today, through spring, summer, fall and winter programs/events, the ONTFL registers hundreds of athletes and teams to participate in numerous divisions of play. We include separate divisions for Men, Women and Co-Ed.
The ONTFL is set up so that players of comparable skills/abilities can compete at the same level using a tier system. The league’s mantra is, as Ed coined, “Everyone should have a shot at their own Super Bowl come playoff time”.
We are proud to be an inclusive and diverse family-style run organization, that welcomes people from all walks of life. All you need to be a member in the ONTFL is a pair of cleats and an interest in football. If this is your first visit to our website, be sure to visit our registration page . All our contacts would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
